J. Crew’s Frank Muytjen Keeps the Past Ever Present

A recent article in Elle Decor focuses on Frank Muytjen, men’s designer of J. Crew, and his up state New York vacation getaway.

The designer’s country retreat is located in the upstate region of New York and lacks everything from internet service to cell reception. Although the home is nothing short of creative accessories and a expressive interior space. It’s found that stools are in abundance in the small 600 square foot home. Notice the two swivel stools in the background serving as a side table.

Beautiful metal stools and a pair of wooden chairs serve as seating for this intimate dining table. There is also an industrial side table on wheels seen in the back right. A similar metal trolly is seen here at STASH.
